Fortitude: Weapon Rune Word – Diablo 2
fortitude runeword d2 is among the few Rune Words that work in weapons and Armor. Fortitude is a Rune Word geared more towards melee combatants due to the Enhanced Damage of 300% that it can provide when placed on Armor. I have seen the frequently asked question on the internet about how the Fortitude Rune Word’s enhanced Damage works on Armor. Let me attempt to answer…
Enhanced Damage is applied differently for your characters when not on a weapon. It is referred to as “Off-weapon ED” or “Off-weapon damage” in these situations. The way the game works is to calculate your weapon’s Damage first, as well as all the bonuses that your weapon has, before incorporating what is known as your “off-weapon ED” and applying it to the total Damage that is done. There are some excellent articles on the game on this site. In addition, this is a good game.
The answer is simple: When added to your Armor, enhanced Damage on Fortitude will increase 100% the Melee damage. In the words of an article on the website I refer to in the preceding paragraph, “The combination of Enhanced weapon Damage and % Damage normally has the most significant impact on attack damage: for example, 300% Enhanced Damage results in 4 times base weapon damage while +300% Damage results in 4 times attack damage; together, this results in attack damage 16 times base weapon damage without any other damage bonuses.”
The Rune Words you create will keep any existing bonuses within the product. If you come across a “Superior piece of Armor featuring an enhanced defense or a superior Weapon that has +Enhanced Damage, or a weapon/helmet that comes with bonuses to improve your skills for a particular class, then all of these will be included in the last Rune Word that is created. It is also possible to “bug” a piece made of Ethereal Armor that you find that can increase the Defense bonus by 50 percent. Check for my Ebugging guide for more details.

The farming of the High Runes:
Out of all the locations available in the game, only one is over the others for cultivating, specifically High Runes, the Countess in Act 1. The Countess is guaranteed to have a possibility of constantly dropping the high Rune and may also drop more than one. I was hoping you could look at my The Countess Farming Guide for more details.
