Zone: Secluded Grove
Herbs: Medicinal
The game’s opening movie ends, you’ll become the main character (whom you chose at the time you started the game from scratch). Throw the barrels around in search of the possibility of a medicinal Herb. Throwing out pots and barrels is a typical method to find objects in the game, so you’ll need to become accustomed to it right now. Talk with King Trode (the green creature that squats) should you wish to. He doesn’t seem to have anything to say at present and that’s likely to change regardless of whether you’d like it or otherwise. Speak with Yangus (the squat thieves) to proceed. In a short time, you’ll be involved in an easy battle against a couple of Slimes.
It’s impossible to lose this battle This fight is an opportunity to show you to take part in the game. The commands are generally self-explanatory (attack and defend, then flee spells, items and abilities all perform as you’d think). It is possible to speed up battles by using in the battle menu’s main screen, alter the AI strategies your group players employ, and try to scare your enemies to flee. For the individual character The only command that is not clear could be Psyche up, which boosts your Tension, and allows you to deal more damage. At present, you can create up to 50 Tension at a time, which can effectively quadruple the damage output (at the expense of not doing anything for the 3 turns). Tension is a simple game in essence it can be extremely beneficial against enemies with an extremely high defense.
After you’ve finished the fight it will take some time after which you’ll be able to find yourself in Farebury. Chat with Yangus at this point, and it’s time to begin.

Don’t be scared by the lengthy list of objects lying around the town. The majority are in pots, barrels dressers as well as hanging containers. The main goal for you right now is to discover what happened to Rylus who is a mage that lives in the town.
You can also find items as you search for Rylus. If you’re just looking to chase the hunt then read this paragraph.
There is 4G in a barrel close to the inn. Inside the inn, go through the various drawers, dressers as well as chests located on the 2nd floor. There you will locate those items: Holy Water, Plain Clothes Chimaera Wing, Cypress Stick, Antidotal Herb and the Medicinal Herb.
The inn is accessible via the back entrance and you’ll discover 3G in a bag just behind the counter. It’s also possible to find the very first Golden Slime back here, but it’s not going to be popular for some time Take a picture of it using START if you want to have a head start on it later.
There’s a house just from the stall at the armour shop with 5G as well as the Antidotal herb inside. The staircase that leads to the exterior of the house from where it is you’ll see the pot that holds the medicinal Herb in the back of the pub. The back alleys in front of the bar there is an unmarked well. In this well, you will find an unlocked chest that contains the Leather Shield. The house that is located near the well contains eight g and plain Clothes inside (the one near it is locked).
The house that is next to the gun shop has the 20-G inside one cabinet. The next stop is just behind the church! Here you will discover an Seed of Defence. Within the church, you can discover the medicinal Herb as well as a the Pot Lid.
The wall to the left of the bridge that connects the central southern house, you can see barrels with two grams and the medicinal herb. And lastly you can enter through the back door to the pub to purchase the sum of 10G in the barrel. After that and you’re ready to continue the story.
Enter the bar (there’s an Antidotal Herb in a barrel close to the door) and then approach the man who has long black hair in the bar.
Begin to talk with him following the short story’s short story. Then, return to the square in Farebury where Trode is waiting for you. After a few scenes from the story the next stop is the house located in the northwestern part of town, near the well.
Go inside and search the cupboards to find 4G as well as the pot to make a medicinal herb. There is 7G in a barrel , too. Speak to Valentina to carry on the plot. Leave town. The plot will continue.
Then leave town again and the adventure begins in the proper way! (Note it is that Thief’s Key Ingredient is found in The bell tower at the Church in the evening. It won’t be revealed until this far into the story.)
Region: Farebury Region
Items like Seed of Life Boxer Shorts and 82G.
Blue Chests 5
Monsters Slime, Candy Cat, Capsichum, Bunicorn, Satyr, Firespirit, Lips, Dracky, Bubble Slime, Dancing Devil, Beetle Boy
Once you’re located on the globe and you’re free to fight or explore and gather treasures however you like. The monsters in this version of the game can be seen in all times on the world map, so you can fight or avoid however you like.
You can stop the enemy that is currently chasing at you from fighting you by reviewing your Battle Records; this resets the battles in close proximity. Beware of enemies with crossed swords across its head with a swathe of caution at the moment; they’re hard to defeat and will be a factor in the near future.
I’ll provide a suggested level for any area that goes beyond this point, in order to give you an notion of the level that can give you the best chance of winning against the opponents you’ll be facing at this level. At level 4 you’ll begin earning Skills Levels (SP) to put into the skill tree.
There are a variety of options to take in this, but I’ll direct you to the most effective route to deal with harm and building up the experience. For starters, you should get your hero’s Courage at 8 and then concentrate on Spears.
Yangus is expected to get Humanity as high as 16, and then concentrate on Axes. Once that’s over we can begin to hunt for treasures!
The latest addition in DQ8 for the 3DS Version of DQ8 are blue chests that respawn each day at midnight after an arbitrary point in the story. This is the time of midnight according to your 3DS internal clock, remember and not the game’s clock.
The chests are scattered around the globe, and they contain random items based on the chest’s “quality”. The five chests found near Farebury are low quality, however they could provide you with a huge advantage in the beginning of game difficulty when you find these chests.
They are located slightly south of the town a bit further south than town. and a slightly farther south than town in a corner from town’s east, as well as southwest of town, near town’s Waterfall Cave.
You will find other traditional treasure chests that contain the Seed of Life (north of town), Boxer Shorts (far west of town) as well as the 82G (far to the east, and just a little south of town). It is important to note that if intend to build useful equipment lateron, you must keep at least two or three of the seeds you discover before beginning making use of them.
If you don’t, you’re free to give the seeds to your group to increase their value. If you’re in good spirits and prepared take a trip toward The Waterfall Cave. The cave is easily accessible close to the town’s south-by-southwest border. There is a hut at the at the top of the waterfall which is worth a visit however.
Location: Waterfall Hut
Items Include: The Seed of Agility, Holy Water, Tool Bag Plain Cheese 8
Take The seeds of agility along with the Holy Water from the shelves on the wall and then speak to the man inside the cabin. This is the first quest that you’ll encounter, which is quite simple. Take a walk along the easternmost part of the region to the only crimson-colored tree, and then pick up your Tools Bag that’s lying there. Bring it back to the guy at the hut and get 8 plain Cheese. He will go over an interesting mechanic once you’ve finished it for him: you could let the hero feed his mouse Munchie cheese, allowing him to be able to breathe different attacks and defenses during the battle. After that then head to the bottom of the mountain and enter Waterfall Cave. Waterfall Cave. You might want to purchase higher quality equipment before going into the cave, for sure. A Boomerang for your hero is highly advised.
Place: Waterfall Cave (Recommended Level 5)
Items include: 100G Chimaera Wing, Medicinal Herb, Leather Hat, Copper Sword, Crystal Ball
Monsters: Slime, Dancing Devil, Dracky, Mischievous Mole, Mecha-Mynah, Bubble Slime, Firespirit, Skipper
It’s the very first level to be found in this game and is quite simple. Take the straight route until the split, then open the chest to gain the 100g. From there, turn the right fork first , and then get to a watery zone (the left fork isn’t able to get anything down it).
There’s a chest in this area with an Chimaera Wing. Just a bit further north are two chests which have an medicinal Herb along with a Leather Hat inside the latter.
The junction of these two pathways is right the area, and a vendor nearby will alert you to an entity that blocks the way towards the forward direction. Go down the stairs to the next level and at the very edge of the next room, you’ll find the thought-to-be threat. Talk to this beast (a Hammerhood) and tell it that you’re prepared to take on it in order to convince it to stop fighting you.
If you’re really determined to take on it, inform it to stay away or speak to it again after having said Yes. It’s not an extremely difficult opponent however it could be psyched to do additional damage, so you should be ready to protect and take care to heal.
In any case, go towards the front and turn right at the crossroads. Then, go up the steps to take the Copper Sword, come back down to the crossroads and proceed to the lower level. Straight from the top until the final boss. Check the orb that is floating, and then confirm the answer twice. It is possible to add an Quick Save from the Misc. menu prior to doing so but just in case.
BOSS: Geyzer
173 HP. Experience Gold, 162 drops Seed of Strength
Attacks Include: Cured Mist (curse to the entire), Sizz (7-12 damage to all) Attack (10-22 damage)
As the boss who is the very first in this game Geyzer will not be too difficult to defeat. Geyzer does introduce players to one of the main features of this game’s hero however Geyzer is free of curses! This means that the hero is expected to carry much of the fight by himself.
Make sure to carry Medicinal Herbs for both Yangus as well as Yangus however, because the fight could take quite a long duration. However, it could be very fast. The best strategy is to let the hero Psyche at least 50, and then strike to get Geyzer down in two powerful strikes. It might take some time as he’ll need to administer Medicinal Herbs on Yangus as well as Yangus throughout the fight along. It’s not going to be a difficult fight.
Once the battle has been completed the brief story is set, and you be awarded an item called the Crystal Ball. Go back to Kalderasha’s residence in Farebury (you are taught Evac at the level 6 which helps you escape from the Waterfall Cave quickly) and contact Kalderasha to get the story moving. Go downstairs for the next story-related scene and then out of town. You’re heading to the next region!

It is now possible to go by the checkpoint in southern direction that leads to Alexandria. On on either end of the checkpoint, there are chests. One is one in blue, the other one containing the Slime Earrings.
There’s Alexandria right down the road which is almost impossible to miss but make sure to look towards the east first to pay the 100G along the edge of the cliff. It’s also possible to walk towards the tower in the vicinity as you’re there to add it added to your list of Zoom locations also.
If you’d like to, you could go south towards Port Prospect, and pick other goodies along the route. There’s a blue chest along the southern beach and the seed of strength on the other side of the beach, as well as a blue chest located on the north side of the path that leads to the port.
There’s nothing to accomplish at the moment in Port Prospect just yet besides purchase equipment and collect things (listed at a later time when you’re expected to visit) So, once you’re ready, head to Alexandria.

You’ll be welcomed with an epic battle when you arrive in the town. That’s a lot of hospitality! Fortunately, infanticide isn’t going to make your list of raps anytime very soon, and you’ll never necessarily have to battle Bangerz and Mash The battle will end at the moment you input any command.
It is possible to upgrade your gear at these shops (a Scale Shield and some Scale Armour at least are highly recommended) and then go to the house that is located to the south, and you will discover the medicinal herb as well as 11G.
The stream will be crossed and you’ll break the pots before you to get an Holy Water. In the house that pots are back, and you’ll find an Chimaera Wing within an cabinet.
The next stop can be found in the Albert mansion that is only accessible in the morning hours; remain at the inn or fight outside the town for a short time to alter the time of morning if you want to. Take a left at the door, and then walk into the kitchen and you’ll discover 5G as well as some plain Cheese inside a couple of pots.
Go back to the foyer and take a trip upstairs, and you’ll discover Bangerz and Mash once more guarding a doorway. They’re not going to let you through however, so you can use the adjacent door.
There’s a box of Wayfarer’s Clothes inside the cabinet, and a treasure chest of the Seed of Magic, 18G, and an moonwort bulb in pots and barrels upstairs. Ask the maid to find out the next step. It is time to look into the mouse hole , and get control over Munchie! Go down the stairs, and then up the broom handle on the desk.
There, you can take Jessica’s letter there. After that, head back upstairs , and back to that mouse’s hole (you can also climb the bezel on the stairs to return upstairs). Send the letter and talk to Bangerz along with Mash and then talk to them two times. After hearing more of the story and conversation, you can head towards Tower of Alexandra! Tower of Alexandra!

Place: Tower of Alexandra (Recommended Level 7)

Monsters Frogface, Imp, Funghoul Beetle Boy, Healslime, Drackmage, Bubble Slime
Go to the tower’s entrance, and check the doors to the tower and converse with Bangerz to proceed. There’s only one way to go now (the entrance for the tower with the lower one is closed) Go inside.
A word of caution: increase Tension quite a amount before hitting large numbers of Frogfaces by the boomerang, because they are extremely risky if you allow them to show their backs to you. It’s more likely to get you killed than anything else! There’s nothing to be found to be found in the chamber that’s first.
So go towards the courtyard. In the front in front of you lies a chest that has 200G inside. There’s nothing else there, go up the steps and head for the door to the left. It is possible to unlock the door and use it as a way to get to the entry point (which can be helpful in the future, I promise).
You can descend the ladder to locate the Seed of Agility, Moonwort Bulb, 22G, 11G, as well as the medicinal Herb inside a chest, as well as several barrels. The ladder is climbed again and then climb the second ladder to another exit to the outside.
From there, go into to the building’s main entrance. Although it appears to be it’s a dead-end but it’s not! Take a look at the blue angry-face circle on the walls to turn 180 degrees before continuing your climb through the tower.
The next floor is where you go to the wall closest to your location to discover the seed of strength along with SevenG in two pots. There’s nothing to be found upstairs from this side, so turn around to take the opposite route to the stairs to the opposite end instead. Smash the barrels to create the possibility of a medicinal Herb prior to taking the stairs up.
You can use the wall spinning here to get a quick way to get to the next step up. From here, follow the linear path, then flip the wall to collect the antidotal Herb or scale Shield from an urn and chest respectively.
Straight towards the top from here, and you can also see additional stories, go to the statue. I recommend that you take pictures of it while there in the first place; it’ll help you avoid a trip to the top in the future. Get off the tower and go toward Alexandria.

The only thing you need to do is speak to Bangerz once more (he’s at the front of the hotel) and stay in the inn, and then go to Jessica along with her mum at the Albert mansion.

Once you’re in town, go towards the fountain to view an image of the gorgeous man there. If you want to answer however you’d like the conversation, and he’ll give you instructions on how to use the camera however you want.
Photograph him, and then speak to him once more. Now you can access Cameron’s Codex as a side-quest that requires recording various objects during your travels and making a report to the guy regarding them in exchange for rewards.
There are more information about this adventure in the pertinent area within this manual. It’s worth the effort and you’ll receive the three first rewards straight immediately. Once you have that taken in hand, you can take on an assortment of containers and barrels near the town’s entrance to locate an Chimaera Wing, Medicinal Herb as well as a the Seed of Wisdom.
Visit the inn to search through its dresser for Holy Water. There’s also an Golden Slime in here if you’d like to take pictures of it today The majority of Cameron’s challenges require snapping photos of each and every one of these little items.
There’s nothing like slime in the well arguing with the next boss, so you need to remove the barrels from close to the stalls of the shop to purchase the 17 G.
You can enter the lighthouse right now. Jessica is waiting to greet you at the end. You can meet her. Make sure to save your quick before talking to her afterwards, however you must do this, as it will trigger the sequence of events leading to the next boss fight.
I would suggest having the Iron Lance and Stone Axe fitted for the protagonist or Yangus respectively, as well as the most effective armor for both.
BOSS Khalamari (Recommended Level 10)
HP: 360, 311 experience, 345 gold
attacks: Flame Breath (30-40 damages to everyone) sweep (14-16 damage to everyone) Slap on the tentacle (20-24 damages to one)
Khalamari is a very cheap boss, and is far more tough than Geyzer because of his strong attacks. Be prepared to defend in the first round since he’s almost always opening with his wildly powerful Flame Breath.
You’ll need an effective weapon for all your friends, as well as an adequate supply of Medicinal Herbs. Tension may help in the hero’s attacks, just a tiny bit. Two 50-Tension attacks should end Khalamari off. If Yangus has a Helm Splitter, you should get a couple of them off immediately to make Yangus’ high-tension attacks more damaging. Repair any injury immediately in the event that your HP falls below 35.
Be prepared for the relentless assault and you’ll prevail eventually. You could also go with the “strategic” option of defending every six turns to attempt to counter attacks with Flame Breath attacks, but I’ve found that this strategy isn’t reliable as he does not consistently utilize Flame Breath every 6 turns (sometimes it’s used at times every 5 minutes, or at least every seven).
If you attempt to fight this battle below the level of 10 will result in the wipe happening about 95% times, according to my experience, because the hero is weak enough to stand up to Flame Breath after any type of attack (and Khalamari will get a turn ahead of the hero often, ensuring that his death). So the case, I’d estimate the chances of success at 75% at level 10 at the very least. I’ll repeat: Khalamari is severely cheap.
After the battle, the story unfolds, and you receive an gold bracer. Talk to Jessica for a second time to get another party member and then sail. Jessica is best when you invest in her ability to use Staves. She’s Sex Appeal makes a nice backup, and so does Whips.
Fisticuffs are a powerful power to master the game, but it’s not worth it to try for it early. Shortswords are also a beneficial skill to help you post-game however, since they’re still quite a ways away it’s safe to ignore these for the time being.

Strength. Once you’ve got all your supplies with food, it’s time to go into Maella Abbey, which is just to the south to Peregrin Quay.
Location: Maella Abbey
Items: Mini Medal #4, Holy Water
You can save yourself by contacting the priest right outside the Abbey. You can enter the Abbey. It’s not much to see in this space which is why you should head towards the courtyard’s central area and then use the side doors to head out. There’s Mini Medal #4 in a pot as well as a phial of Holy Water inside the barrel. Speak to one of the Templars at the rear of the courtyard’s outdoor area for a short scene. There’s nothing to do in the meantime So, take the second route out from Maella Abbey to continue onward.
Location: Maella Region
Items such as Bunny Tail, Chain Mail
Blue Chests 2
Monsters Chainine, Jargon, Giant Moth, Lump Mage, She-Slime, Bullfinch Morphean Mushroom, Night Sneaker, Mummy Boy, Fly Guy, Slime Knight, Healslime
There’s quite a bit in the globe map available currently however, we’ll remain closer to Maella Abbey for the time being. Technically, you could complete the whole section next to the guide before moving on to the story that surrounds Maella Abbey, in fact! However, there’s no point in doing this since you’ll be able to gain a brand new member once you’ve completed part of the Maella Abbey sequence. I’ll presume that you’ll stay with the current part of the sequence. There’s a blue box just east of the point where you begin out in the section, and to the south is a chest locked with an rabbit Tail inside. You can pair this with Jessica’s Hairband to create an even better Bunny Ears headgear for her. Another blue chest is that’s a little east of this close to an area of land on the northern banks of the river and to the east of the river’s banks is a chest with chains of Mail inside. Further east, and we’ll enter an area known as the Ascantha region (which is totally possible to do now if wish; there’s nothing stopping you from going there today) Let’s take it westwards towards the small town of Simpleton near Maella Abbey.
Location: Simpleton

This town is the sticks, for certain. Actually everything that is interesting in the city (the Golden Slime, the shop, even the upcoming storyline) is within the bar. Take a trip upstairs to pick up mini Medal #5 and 6G from a couple of barrels, then check the shops for yourself (the two guys in the dining room) Then, talk to the red-headed man down the stairs to finish your tale. Return for Maella Abbey.
Location: Maella Abbey
New Items: Mini Medal #6, 26G
Once you’ve got the Ring of the Templar, it’s time to access the Templar’s halls. There’s Mini Medal #6 in the kitchen to the left and a golden Slime located in a nook with a statue up there as well as 26G inside a barrel towards the north. Take a walk down the stairs and enter through the door that is located at the end of the hallway. Once you are in the room that lies beyond, the story begins. Speak to the guards on the bridge in the north outdoor area, and then walk back to the abbey. As you continue walking forward, you’ll start the next story sequence. The next target is the Ruined Abbey. Like Angelo stated, you have to go to the exit of Maella Abbey that leads towards Simpleton However, you should instead, you should follow the river east until you arrive at your destination.
Place: The Abbey Ruined
Items: (Cannibox), 300G, Iron Nail, Mini Medal #7, Bronze Shield, 50G, Waterweed Mould, Mini Medal #8, Bandit’s Grass Skirt
Monsters Mummy Boy, Skeleton, Fly Guy, Bag of Laughs, Drackyma, Metal Slime, Walking Corpse
Take a look at the plaque and then put the Templar’s band on the plaque. Proceed to walk down the steps. The first chest you find in the alcove on the east is an Cannibox and the next one is locked and holds 300G. The right-hand alcove contains an extremely valuable iron Nail that can be coupled with the Boomerang to create a useful reinforced Boomerang. Take the ladder down and walk towards at the far end, where you will find mini Medal 7 in the pot. Inside a locked chest in the opposite room of this hallway is the Bronze Shield. Enter through the door, and down the hall, then down the stairs to the poisonous pit. The debris can be used to get through the pit unharmed. Keep going, and look through the two rooms to see if you have 50G, Waterweed Mould along with mini Medal 8. In the room with the zombie priest make a turn and inspect the cabinet in the next room for the Bandit’s grass Skirt. Then, talk to (or try to get past) your zombie priest to begin the next boss battle.
BOSS: Tortured Soul (recommended level 13)
580 HP at 425 HP. exp 300 gold Drops Gold Rosary
Attacks include: Strike (20-25 damages), Sizzle (20-30 damage to all) and summon Allies (Skeleton as well as Walking Corpse are visible)
This boss could be an opportunity to get a wake-up warning if you’ve avoided fights up to the present. The boss isn’t as expensive as Khalamari was however, he’s still risky. It is best to focus in psyching up as much as you can, healing yourself with powerful Medicines when needed and unleashing death’s incarnation on the boss. When he calls for minions avoid them. He’ll summon additional ones if you eliminate them. After the Tortured Soul has been destroyed it’s not any threat to you.
After the battle You are quickly healed fully. Take the remaining short route until you reach a ladder towards Maella Abbey.
Location: Maella Abbey
New Items: Mini Medal #9
The first step is to smash the barrels in the area for mini Medal number 9. Then , you can walk straight through the Abbot’s detention area upstairs (you could get recipes for alchemy from his bookshelves on the lower level in case you’d like). You can then talk with the Abbot. After a short story you’ll enter the Dungeon. Chat with your friends and then head towards the middle inside the prison to proceed. When you are able to control yourself and are in control, you should look over for the presence of an iron maiden. Go back to the abbey and the abbot’s residence. Speak to Angelo or attempt to get upstairs to get the story moving. When you’ve finished the story’s sequence you’ll find yourself in The Templar’s Quarters. Go to Marcello at his office close by to continue (his guards will be moving whenever you talk with them). Go back to the main entrance to the abbey, and Angelo will be joining your group finally! He is a master of Swords and Charisma, although you can also get beneficial spells from his Staves too.
(Note it is important to note that even if you finished Ascantha prior to this, you’ll receive an additional story that includes Trode when you leave.)

Now since Angelo is a part of the group and is now a part of the party, we must go to Ascantha! Travel to the east of Simpleton until you arrive at the small chapel on the river and house. You’ll also find the first cow in the area. Cows around the globe offer an unrestricted Fresh Milk every day when you speak to them. There’s a chest that is locked with an amount of 230G in the north-northwest corner of these two buildings. We’ll talk about both buildings.
Location: Riverside Chapel/Riverside House
Things: Mini Medal #10, Silk Robe Seed of Magic
Inn: 10G
It is possible to stay in the chapel at no cost tonight and you could decide to do that. This gives you an additional story scene in the event that you do it, which is a great. There’s Mini Medal #10 inside the home inside a barrel and also a silk Robe inside an antique cabinet. There’s also a Seed of Magic in the cabinet in the church. Apart from that there’s nothing else to do at these two places… at present.
On the way back to the west side of the river turn further south until you come across the chest with the seed of Life in it. You can traverse the river. Just along the way you will find a blue treasure chest and just to the south of the road at the bend leading towards the castle at Ascantha there is a blue treasure chest. Continue to go a bit east from there and you’ll come across the chest locked with the Seed of Defence inside. Take a turn toward Ascantha however, veer off towards the east of the castle and you’ll find an unlocked chest that has the number 154G inside. Then you are able to access Ascantha in its entirety.

Examine your well to find the Lady’s Ring. It is possible to take it to a gentleman in Farebury’s pub at night to get an Seed of Wisdom However, it’s only for a short time and take your time as you think about it! The nearest house to the well is home to Rennet Powder as well as Mini Medal #11 inside it. The church contains a number of recipes for alchemy however, again it isn’t necessary to create what those recipes will be used for and therefore, feel free to take them off the list. The house next to the church also has plain Clothes in an unfinished cabinet. The only thing that the inn contains is an Golden Slime to photograph. The time has come to raid the castle. Enter through the leftmost entrance and pick up the Mini Medal #12 from the cabinet next to it and 42G from the cabinet that is next to it. Go upstairs now (using the internal staircases, those on the outside provide the photo opportunity) and examine the area on the right for the red Mould in barrels as well as a medicinal Herb in the pot. Take the stairs to the next floor and look in the minister’s quarters in search of mini Medal #13 inside his cabinet (and the Golden Slime on the shelves). This is all there is to look through, though the final photo opportunity for this town is located at the top of the building. To move the plot forward the only thing you need do is talk to the king during the night (he’s in the throne’s chamber crying) and then go down. When Emma speaks to you, proceed to return into your Riverside Chapel and talk to the elderly lady who lives who lives next to the chapel. She will guide you to the right track. All you need do is go to the beach that is nearby and then walk straight up to Wisher’s Peak.
Location The location is Wisher’s Peak.
The items: Wizard’s Staff, 500G, the Templar’s Shield
Monsters: Walking Corpse, Mummy Boy, Fat Bat, Hell Hornet, Treeface, Bodkin Archer, Diemon
The area is simple. Enter the cave system and continue straight until you find the Wizard’s Staff. Follow the right fork and proceed to the top of the stairs. There’s nothing left at the end of the lower trail and you should take the narrow pathway instead.
The cave in the vicinity contains 500G within it, as well as an alternative is further higher up the hill. From there, you can cross the bridge and continue upwards, taking a side-path that leads to Temple’s Shield before heading to the main path that leads to the top.
When you reach the top you will need to wait for a few minutes before the plot will be in. Look at the shadows on the wall as soon as you’re able.
This is a bit bizarre! You can enter the building and talk with the stranger inside. After a short conversation, you can quit the Moonshadow Realm, and you’ll be taken back to the castle of Ascantha.
Head upstairs into the throne’s room for further story. After that take a walk back to the map of the world.
If you’ve completed this Maella Abbey sequence, a story sequence will be played out and your next location will be determined: Pickham. The entrance for this region is the Pickham region is located directly to the to the south of Ascantha. (Note it is important to note that even if did not get involved with Angelo prior to the sequence you’ll need to do it at this moment.
The plot will not continue until you’ve done it but you could go to the Pickham region before this point.)

Monsters: Hood, Gorerilla, Clockwork Cuckoo, Minidemon, Berserker, Capsichum, Treeface, Chimaera, Night Fencer, Witch, Hipster
There’s an inn that’s located close to the Pickham region that is quite nice. After you’ve passed the gateway arch, turn off the path towards the east to find a blue box in the middle of a building that looks odd. Talk to the person on the top of the building, and then leave him and then talk to him when he is greeting you with the three Morrie’s Memos.
If you’re looking to begin working with them, Lonely Joe is along the way towards Ruined Abbey. Ruined Abbey, and Squiggles is situated south of the lake close by. After that, go straight towards the west to find a chest that has the sum of 450G inside a small cavern in the edge of the plateau.
Go south, then west-to-east through a plateau, and you’ll find another chest that is locked that contains an leather whip. The next stop is east and to the north, right next to the lake (we’ll be heading there in the near future) and there’s a blue chest.
On the northern side of the east swamp of the part of the region that is rocky, there’s an unlocked chest that has the Farmers Scythe inside. From as far west as you can go along a narrow canal that looks out to the ocean, is an unlocked chest that has the Iron Shield in it. It’s actually necessary to travel to the south and then circle around the coast to get there.
This will take to take care of the various loot that is scattered around the area and you should go towards Pickham situated in the northeast of the region.

This is a shady town, in case you weren’t aware. If you’re looking to test your luck at gambling at the casino the best odds are playing Bingo. It can help you create the best alchemical kit If you choose to (Wizard Staff + Rune Staff for Staff of Antimagic, Iron Shield + Silver Platter for White Shield, and Bandana and Agility Ring to match Mercury’s Bandana).
So let’s look for the treasure! Start by looking at the structure on the west of town to find an bunny Tail and some Rennet Powder as well as 12G. It is possible to ignore the bully who is demanding money to cross the central avenue.
You can get to that area without having to pay him by walking the long way. In the building that is long near the bully’s spot and the aforementioned chain mail, you’ll find chain Mail inside a cupboard (and it’s the Gold of town Slime on a shelf far from the cabinet).
Inside the residential complex that lies to the northeast, you’ll find the Seed of Life and Holy Water. Go down the well and smash some pots to get an oblique from amor seco essence along with the Mini Medal #14.
The bags found in the shop have Mini Medal #15. Go to the bar on the northern end of town to break the barrels to get fresh milk.
Next , go to the pub and go up to the upper floor to purchase 35G inside a cupboard. Take a walk up the roof and find red Mould inside the barrel. This is all there is in this region, so it’s time to go back to the street. There’s a pot that has the word Cowpat in the central western alley. Inside the housing unit , not too far from it, you’ll find an old barrel that has miniature Medal #16 and an item bag that has the seeds of power inside.
The house to the south of the most northeastern house has the Magic Water in an unmarked cabinet. It’s the number 26G inside a bottle in the eastern side of the alleyway. There’s Waterweed Mould in an unidentified barrel that is located close by. The bar’s tent on its roof has boxer shorts in bags. Mini Medal #17 is in a pot located at the top of the roof’s pathway. Your objective (at at the very least) is below the stairs on the rooftop.
Enter the room following the short narrative, and look around the back room for the Seed of Wisdom and 30G. After that, it’s straight back to the northern bar! After a short scene there, return to the storeroom in the southeast and meet the thief for a different story.
Go to the bar on the south side of town and speak to the barkeeper to move to the bar counter. There’s a cabinet that has mini Medal #18 there as well as your conversation partner, Dodgy Dave. Speak to Dodgy Dave to make things move again. You must now take the horse to Red’s home located in the lake to the southwest of town.
Place: Red’s Place
Items: Mini Medal #19, Mini Medal #20, Hairband
The shed is nearby and you can look to find Mini Medal #19 inside the barrel. Speak to the guard at the door to gain access. There’s a bowl nearby that has Mini Medal #20 inside. There’s an hairband within the cupboard inside her space.
Red’s golden Slime is located next to a shrub in one corner. Speak to Red right now. This scenario is a little difference if you’ve have already gotten the Venus Tear out of the Swordsman’s Labyrinth. If this is the case then try to leave the house completely and then walk back into her house and hand over the tear. If not, she’ll tell you to take that Venus’ tear in Swordsman’s Labyrinth. It’s located just north of her home and you can shake your leg.
The location is Swordsman’s Labyrinth.
Things: Cowpat, 1000G, 11G Mini Medal #21, Red Mould, 62G, Seed of Magic, Antidotal Herb Mini Medal #22, (Cannibox), Kitty Shield Mini Medal #23
Monsters Phantom Fencer, Goodybag, Restless Armour, Lost Soul, Mummy Boy, Mummy, Cannibox
When you first enter the building, you will see an unintentional storyline that includes Yangus. There’s nothing at the beginning floor, so go down the stairs and enter through the first doorway. Take the stairs down and take a couple of pots to create the Cowpat.
The poison swamp is crossed for the chest, which is 1,000G. Remain to the upstairs area and follow the route, going east until you reach the intersection with four ways. Enter the leftmost door in the room that leads to the room that is packed full of treasures: 11G Mini Medal #21, Red Mould and 62G. Seed of Magic, Antidotal Herb as well as the chest is locked with Mini Medal #22 in it.
The rightmost entrance contains two boxes, one being one is a Cannibox as well as one that is secure with the Kitty Shield in the lock. Go back to the intersection with four lanes and walk north. Don’t not unlock the very first “door” in the sense that it will send you into the pit of poison on the floor below, and cause you to go back.
Instead, open the door further down and proceed to the next level. The northern path is another fake trap door that you must follow and get the statue away and proceed to another level. From here, follow the eastern route at the fork , and then break the pot to earn Mini Medal #23.
Return to the path that you came from before, and then go the opposite route and push the statue over the floor tile that is obvious to move the bridge ahead. Continue along the linear path until you reach the room near the end. There, put L R and R together to enter free-look mode. Look upwards at the ceiling.
Take note of the holes and then push the statues until they align with the hole. Stand on the tile beneath the hole and get elevate! Look at the plaque close by for a complete heal. It’s straight towards this chest. However, it’s going to be simple. Save quickly, open the chest, and get ready for a fight with a boss!
BOSS: trap Box (Recommended level 16)
1100 HP and 1020 experience gold 990 Drops Venus Tear
Attacks include: Regular attack (25-30 damage) Critical hit (70-90 damage), Fuddle (confusion on one), Fizzle (block spell casting), Crackle (30-40 damage to all)
Trap Box isn’t a joke. The man can and will take out those who are weak to fight him. It is important to be lucky to not be slain by a bad turn. To achieve this, Acceleratle is a must. Tension is extremely helpful it should become your first task when you are not healing.
If you’re equipped with Multithrust, the hero with spears it can take off an impressive third to fifty percent of Trap Box’s HP with just one 50-Tension strike. The quicker you can finish this battle and the more you win, the more effective.
Following the battle, assuming you were here in the manner the game directed you to, there’ll be a brief scene in the event that the game notifies you that you received an Venus’ Tear. In either case, you must make your way out and go towards Red’s home to visit her again.
Speak to her about an opportunity to tell a story, and then leave her home for the chance to see Medea finally. Return to Pickham and go to the area below the stairs on the rooftops , to view Brains finally. Talk to the man to find out what to do next.
When you are leaving town, you must to visit Dodgy Dave once more in the south-facing pub. He’ll request that you make an offer of a special Medicine for 500G. This is quite an offer so take the opportunity to do. Then he’ll request the Reinforced Boomerang for 1200G that you may be able to do because you’ll need to offer him one at some point.
A Boomerang with an Edge isn’t significantly less effective and why would you want to? The next one he makes (a Ring of Immunity) is likely to take a while before you are able to complete it. Your next stop is to the north from Port Prospect!

Trode will be making progress on the Alchemy Pot over the next few nights in the Inn and it’s well worth the small price. It’s also possible to save here in case you want it, as well. the Mini Medal 24 is located in the pot by the entrance. After that take a left from the hut, and make through the proper wastelands. Your final destination is in the northwest part of the wastelands.
There is a chest that’s locked with the Sledgehammer to the top of the cliffs over. When you get close to the vessel, there will be a brief story followed by your next stop will be revealed: Trodain! The way to get there is easy enough: simply follow the northwest, and you’ll come across an underground cave that leads into an entrance to the Trodain region. First, look over the west coast for a locked chest that contains the Seed of Magic. It’s then on towards the cave as well as Trodain.

As soon as you can you should make a run to Western Cape. There’s a church there and the blue chest.
There’s a peddler within as well as an inn as well as the capability to save. As you progress take a walk along the western coast to locate the locked chest, which has 630G behind the southern cliffs of lowlands that lie near the water, and another chest that’s located in a Cannibox at the top of the northern cliff close to the water.
Follow the path until the gate into Trodain Castle (you will find Smiles the final monster needed for Morrie in this area; refer to our Monster Arena section for more information) However, instead, go towards the south and find a tiny pool and a blue chest. Follow the eastern route at the fork , and make your way through the west-facing forest to find a blue chest. You can now access Trodain Castle.
Place: Trodain Castle
Items: 1500G Magic Key, The Templar’s Sword, Magic Beast Hide Mini Medal #25 Gold Bracer Mini Medal #26, Garter Mini Medal #27, 29G Rock Salt, Waterweed Mould 150G Mini Medal #28
Monsters: Rockbomb, Garuda, Hunter Mech, Dragonthorn, Wailin’ Weed, Infernal Armour, Cureslime, Liquid Metal Slime
Take a walk to the gate, and then check it for a story. After you have regained control then head to the left stairs to locate 1500G in an chest.
Enter the castle from here. I recommend that you enter on the left-hand side first. Personally, I’ve discovered that the area of the shop here is an easy place to get Liquid Metal Slimes to spawn through standing at the left-hand corner of the room and adjusting the camera from the upper-left corner. You can reach an absurd level with using this feature.
However, you must go through the southern door to find a chest that has the valuable Magic Key, a locked chest that contains the Temple’s Sword as well as a few barrels, pots , and bags that contain Magic Beast Hide, Mini Medal #25 as well as a gold bracer inside the bags.
There’s nothing in the door in the south, therefore head back to the central hallway and go through the western entrance instead. Go south along the corridor before turning around and then enter the doorway that lead to south (there’s no interesting things to see in the room in North).
Follow the stairs to the bottom then smash several of the pots to obtain an amount of 46G. There’s nothing that is in the south-facing corridor and you should instead take the narrow staircase then smash up a barrel to get Mini Medal #26.
The area is finished which is why you should go back up and walk towards the central lobby. However, this time proceed to the northeast of the lobby, and then go to the top of the stairs (again there is nothing in the room next to it).
The first floor has plenty of things worth checking out. If you’d like to go up the steps on the southern end to visit the sceptre’s room and watch a short story arc. Go into the southwest room and go to the piano for a second story. The room to the north contains an Garter inside the cabinet.
It’s not in the adjoining rooms to east take a walk to the northeast area. In one of the cabinets there is Mini Medal #27. The next stop is the northwest room. There are several barrels in this room that can be broken down for the sum of 29G. Go to the balcony and then go up the spiral staircase.
Follow it down until you reach the first floor. Go into the room next to discover Rock Salt in an unmarked pot. You won’t be able to go any further into the room from here but.
You can go to the room for the throne (in the middle) and then check out the minister who sits on the throne for a hilarious small story. The room to the northwestern is home to pots that have waterweed mould in them, as well as several barrels that have 150G and Mini Medal #28.
Enter through the southernmost door to locate the library! There’s plenty of alchemy recipes in this area and an unlockable entrance to the courtyard and a story line when you enter into the room’s main. The bookcase you’re looking to find is located in the southwest corner.
Check it out to start the plot going again. You can open your Moonshadow window and then go to the bookshop with Ishmari. After you’ve completed that then your next destination will be Ascantha Talk to the king, and then proceed through the tunnel and into a different part of the map of the world.
The location: Land of the Moles
Items like Seed of Life Mini Medal #29
Monsters Hawk Man, Mad Mole, Mars Rover, Chimaera
The way to get to the Mole’s Hole is simple, but first, take the locked chest located within the area to find an Seed of Life. In close proximity to the Mole Hole located in the northern area is a chest that is locked that has Mini Medal #29 inside. Then , it’s down to the Mole Hole!
Locality: Mole Hole
Items: 1500G Mini Medal #30, Seed of Defence Stone Hardhat
Monsters: Mischievous Mole, Mad Mole, Mars Rover, Rockbomb, Peepers, Muddy Hand
Then, you can follow the southern fork, and then check the west-facing corner of the space in the area of 1500G. Begin to lower to level 2. In the corner of the room with a rough shape on this level, you’ll find two pots that contain mini Medal #30 as well as the The Seed of Defence.
There’s a chest that’s locked in the southernmost room on this level that has the Stone Hardhat in it. This is all there is for treasures and so head toward Don Mole on level 3 (he’s located in on the left side of the level) You can Quicksave, then converse with Don Mole to fight him (pick Yes for a funny small scene, however, you must choose No to begin your fight).
BOSS Don Mole, 4 Soul Moles (Recommended level 21)
1280 HP, 1160 experience, 540 gold, drops Elfin Elixir
Attacks Performance (confusion with all enemies and all allies) Normal Attack (35-50 damage) Ground Pound (45-60 damage to all allies)
Don Mole opens with his show, which is sure to be confusing for nearly all Soul Mole and perhaps certain members of your group in the event that you’re lucky. You’ll need to get clear of any unconfused Soul Moles as fast as possible, since they love to increase Tension and strike harder.
In other words the game is a typical boss fight In the fight, Psyche Up, Acceleratle, heal as required, pay attention to the boss and do the job as fast as you can. Although Don Mole does eventually summon his Soul Mole minions to replace him however, he does very rarely, so you’re likely to experience any problems.
Following the battle, you’ll be able to get your Moonshadow Harp! You can now Evac out. Once that’s completed Let’s go treasure-hunting, shall’s not we? Ishmari is welcome to stay and there’s plenty of treasure to be discovere!
