The end and last fight between Goku and the magical creature Majin Buu with a series of more fights Goku destroys the Majin buu with the spirit bomb and make a wish to recarnate him as a good person.
Later Goku meets the UUB at the tournament on earth and discovers that he is reincarnate as Majin Buu the series ends in showing that Goku trains the UUB as a new defender of the earth.
While this was the end of the first time and after this the sequel of this came in the market named as dragon ball super. This sequel was aired in July 2015 to march 2018 with the total of 131 episodes which means they totally aired 131episode in almost three years of this series. The story is picked up right where it ended in its prequel when majin buu is defeated. In DBS goku faces more powerful enemies ahead.

There is then a new addition of character champa which is a brother to beerus and he successfully convinces beerus to hold a tournament between best fighters available in the world from each of the god universe for possession for earth.
And there our goku joins the tournament and he fought all the battles and won almost every single battle but in the second last match goku uses his full powers but still he was not able to defeat his opponent and goku forfeits the match. Which in turn hit does the same and thus universe seven wins?
Later in the series a new powerful enemy appears named as the goku black. And after that it is got revealed that the new enemy named goku black is no other than supreme kai himself from another universe 10 and had taken goku’s body from another universe to wipe all immortals and immortality attains.
And later in the series he got destroyed and after goku black’s destruction grands zeno manage to hold a new tournament which is named as tournament of power, and at goku suggestion 8 out of 12 universes will participate in this tournament.
But later on it becomes the survival tournament when grad zeno announced that any universe which will get defeated they will be wiped out of from universe for forever.
Goku, gohan, fieza, and piccolo join the tournament they were representing universe 7 and they were protecting it also. And later on that tournament ends with goku and frieza defeating all other opponents in turn of dying themselves.
After that a solo competitor remains and he wishes for revival of the universe erased. Grand zeno grant his wish and his universe gets safe from being erased for forever. After that goku and his friends returns to the earth where goku and vegeta pledge to become more and stronger than before.
